Fall Colors Trip to Boston and New England October 1-3, 2010

Day One: Oct. 1st: Arrive Boston's Logan Airport and transfer to Boston's Faneuil Hall Mall and The Freedom Trail; Take the Beantown Trolley and tour the New England Aquarium and Paul Revere's Home. Tour the Charlestown Navy Yard. Stay Marlborough, Massachusetts and dine at the famous Wayside Inn. Boston area college visits available upon request.
Day Two: Oct. 2nd: Tour Lexington and Concord where the "shot heard round the world" was fired. Visit the Revolutionary War Museum and the homes of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau. Travel to Salem, Massachusetts, and view the site of the Salem Witch Trials. Visit the famed House of the Seven Gables and the replica of the court house and jail where the accused witches were housed.
Day Three: Oct. 3rd: Travel to Newport, Rhode Island, to visit the mansions inhabited by the idle rich during the 1860's; visit The Breakers used as a site for The Great Gatsby Film. Stroll down Cliff Walk and tour the America's Cup Museum. Head north and stop at Plymouth Rock. Return to Boston's Logan Airport.
Participation Fee of $850 includes:
- Round-trip airfare Denver to Boston, Massachusetts
- Hotel transfer
- Two over-night stays based on double occupancy, breakfast daily
- Transportation to six sites
- Boston walking tour
Additionally:
- 2.0 credits available through Adams State College
- College visits may be made during the trip with prior arrangement with tour operator
